In April 2008, a distribution was made from the Restitution Fund (the "Fund") in the matter of the United States of America v. Computer Associates International, Inc. That distribution was made both in supplement of the initial November, 2007 distribution, in which an error occurred, and for additional monies later recovered from certain defendants. There are no further distributions planned in this matter and no further claims will be accepted.
As background, because of the error made in the initial processing of restitution claims, the amount of restitution to be paid to each claimant was calculated incorrectly and Gilardi & Co. worked with the Court to correct the matter. Previous notices with additional details have been sent to all claimants in this matter and all eligible claimants have now been paid.
